Amifi legal information
Privacy Policy
How the Amifi website and identified services handle personal data.
1. Scope and responsibility
This Policy applies to the public Amifi website and to Amifi services that expressly adopt it. Product-specific notices or contracts may add or replace terms for a subscription, private pilot or B2B service. It does not turn a product enquiry into an account or paid-service relationship.
2. Local-first Money Tracker data
Money Tracker is designed to keep named core money records on the user’s device. Account, billing, reliability, messaging, update, market-data and separately identified connected functions may process limited data through Amifi or approved service providers. Optional device permissions remain under the user’s control; supported SMS processing is user-initiated and raw private SMS must not be submitted through the website.
3. Website enquiries
If website enquiries are enabled, we collect the fields you submit, the applicable notice and consent versions, limited delivery metadata, and short-lived abuse-prevention data to respond to the requested enquiry. A submission is not treated as accepted until it is durably stored. Do not submit passwords, banking credentials, raw financial records, customer data or confidential business information.
4. Purposes and lawful handling
We use information to provide or discuss the requested service, maintain security and reliability, keep consent evidence, meet legal obligations and improve products using appropriately limited information. The applicable legal basis depends on the person, service and jurisdiction and may include requested steps, contract, consent, legitimate interests or legal obligation. We do not describe personal lead data as an unrestricted saleable asset.
5. Website storage and measurement
Essential storage may support security and requested website functions. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and advertising measurement are not active in this release. Optional measurement may be introduced later only with an applicable notice and consent model.
6. Providers, locations and transfers
For this website release, Google Cloud provides hosting and lead database infrastructure; Cloudflare provides edge delivery, security and Turnstile abuse prevention; Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph provide the restricted internal lead notification; and Hashnode hosts the separately identified Amifi blog. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and advertising measurement are not active at launch. Core Google Cloud workloads currently use India regions where configured. Edge, Microsoft communications and blog providers may process data in other locations under applicable safeguards. Providers have their own roles and terms; this Policy does not claim identical practices or universal certification.
7. Retention and deletion
Marketing and early-access leads are retained for 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. B2B enquiries are retained for 24 months after the last interaction or a closed-lost decision. Diagnostic answers are retained for 12 months or deleted earlier when the lead closes. IP-address HMACs expire after 30 days, rate counters after 24 hours, and Turnstile tokens are not retained. Minimal consent evidence is retained for the life of the lead plus three years after closure or withdrawal, subject to applicable legal requirements. At expiry, contact details, free text and answers are deleted or anonymized; non-identifying aggregate counts may remain.
8. Permanent business closure
If Amifi or the relevant operating entity permanently ceases operations, new marketing and diagnostic collection will stop as part of shutdown. Personal lead and diagnostic data will be deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed for an orderly wind-down, even if its normal retention clock has time remaining. Only records required for applicable law, tax, accounting, disputes, fraud or security investigation, consent evidence or another legitimate legal obligation may survive, and they remain purpose-limited and access-restricted. Deletion and anonymization actions will be documented. A lawful transfer to a genuine successor requires an applicable legal basis, appropriate notice and purpose continuity.
9. Security
Amifi applies scoped technical and organizational controls appropriate to the service, including bounded inputs, restricted access, encryption or protected transport where configured, and separation of operational secrets. No system is guaranteed error-free or completely secure. If a security issue affects personal data, Amifi will respond according to the facts and applicable obligations.
10. Rights and contact
Depending on applicable law, a person may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict personal data, withdraw consent, or object to certain handling. Requests can be made through Support or [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Mandatory rights are not excluded by this Policy.
11. Changes
Material changes will be dated and published with reasonable notice where appropriate. Previous versions remain available through repository or operational records rather than being silently destroyed.
